ZipLine and Quality Oil Partner in Rollout of Consumer ACH/Debit Card
Coconut Creek, FL and Winston-Salem, N.C. (PRWEB) March 16, 2015 -- ZipLine, a leading provider of mobile and card-based decoupled debit (ACH) payment solutions, and Quality Oil Company, LLC, a diversified fuel, heating, and convenience store retailer, today announced a technology partnership that will leverage a low-cost payment method (decoupled debit) as a consumer marketing and loyalty tool.
As part of the agreement, Quality Oil will use the ZipLine platform as the merchant transaction system for the Quality Oil branded Super Saver consumer card. Quality Oil customers will receive an instant rollback at the pump when using the card, which behaves like a standard bank issued PIN debit card—debiting from the consumer’s bank account via ACH, but without costly discount or interchange fees to the merchant.
Merchant branded debit cards are catching on as a way for retailers to redeploy traditional and costly card acceptance costs back to consumers in the form of real-time rewards.
“In conjunction with ZipLine, Quality Oil Company has created a dynamic platform with the Quality Super Saver card to reward our customers,” said Andy Sayles, Senior V.P. of Quality Oil Company, LLC. “ZipLine’s technology provides an avenue for our Quality Mart and Quality Plus brands to deliver a personalized experience for our customers and to engage with them even when they are not physically at our property.”
In addition to a financial transaction switch and ACH processing, the ZipLine platform offers a number of robust features such as a consumer enrollment portal, POS interface, billing system, merchant reporting, mobile payment (mPay), marketing, loyalty and customer support.
The Quality Oil partnership bolsters ZipLine’s momentum as the leading decoupled debit (ACH) and mobile technology provider in the C-store vertical. ZipLine currently services over 5,500 active sites, with over 5,000 more under contract.
“We are very excited to be working with the Quality Oil team,” said Steve Goodrich, President and CEO of ZipLine. “They are an engaged and talented group that understands the value of consumer engagement. This will translate into another extremely successful program that will benefit consumers.”
The ZipLine-enabled Quality Oil decoupled debit cards are available now to consumers. Cards can be picked up at the participating Quality Mart and Quality Plus locations and individuals enroll online at the Quality Oil web site http://www.QualitySuperSaver.com.
