Weymouth, MA (PRWEB) March 17, 2015 -- To follow on the success of the recently published multi-client study for the Americas and China entitled, Mobile Devices and the Impact on Print, InfoTrends is pleased to announce the launch of a new report focusing on how mobile devices will have an impact on print in Europe. The study is scheduled to deliver in September 2015.
The purpose of this research is to uncover the relative opportunity to print across a broad range of mobile device users from teenagers to office and mobile business users to retired people. The goal is to understand what each of those groups and other groups of people in Europe need in order to satisfy their desire to print from their mobile devices.
Based on results from the initial study, the expectation is that users of mobile devices, both for work and for personal reasons, will have a need or desire to print. The study will explore that overlap (business users vs. personal users), and will consider how factors like location and willingness to pay may differ depending upon the need.
InfoTrends will conduct 3,200+ web-based surveys with smartphone and tablet owners across Germany, Italy, France and Poland. Questions on mobile printing for business or personal use will include:
- How do their printing needs from smartphones and tablets differ from notebook use?
- Where do they want to print using a mobile device?
- What do they want to print?
- Do they require color or B/W?
- Why do business/personal users need or want a mobile print?

InfoTrends will conduct extensive primary and secondary research and will leverage previously-published research it has conducted as part of its ongoing analysis of the European mobile printing market. In addition, a market modeling tool will be developed to measure the impact of different events or activities that would increase or decrease print potential.
