CLEARLINK was honored by PR News at their annual CSR Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility luncheon on March 12th.
Corporate Social Responsibility is a management concept where companies, like CLEARLINK, integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and interactions. CLEARLINK measures a double and triple bottom line, which focuses on giving back to employees and the community in unique and meaningful ways throughout the year.
CLEARLINK was selected as a finalist for two separate categories, competing against international Fortune 500 companies. In the category of “Employee Relations,” CLEARLINK is nominated for its work in engaging employees with philanthropy via the 2014 Walk4Water. CLEARLINK’s 1,200 employees worked throughout the summer to fundraise nearly $50,000 for a clean water system in Rwanda. The effort culminated at the end of September, when 20+ teams walked from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City, taking nearly eight million steps over two weeks to connect the two driest states.
One participating employee said, “The luxury of clean, filtered, cold water is one that I don’t think anyone should take for granted. CLEARLINK’s Walk4Water campaign just spoke to me, right at a time when I was looking for some way to give back, to show gratitude for all that I have. It’s been so easy, and it will make a gigantic impact.”
In the category of “Corporate-Community Partnerships,” CLEARLINK is nominated for its SEO 101 series with The Community Foundation of Utah. In 2014, CLEARLINK provided free courses to 25 local non-profits that benefitted from deep SEO analysis and guidance from a team of digital marketing experts.
One recipient of the training said, “Thank you for your time and energy in providing this much-needed service to the non-profit community in Utah. It is trainings like this and companies like CLEARLINK that provide the support that we as a non-profit need to continue to fulfill our mission to empower youth voice!”
