Three CPAmerica Firms Recognized as National Leaders and Seven Recognized as Regional Leaders in Accounting Today’s Top 100
Gainesville, Fla. (PRWEB) March 17, 2015 -- Accounting Today named several CPAmerica International firms as national and regional leaders in their Top 100 listing in March. Three firms were featured in the Top 100 and also moved up in the rankings. Five firms saw revenue growth of more than 10 percent.

Frazier & Deeter, headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., moved up three spots to rank 57 in the Top 100. Frazier & Deeter, also a leader in the Southeast region, saw revenue growth of more than 16 percent in the past year, making the firm the eighth fastest growing among the Top 100 firms for the third year in a row. In the past year, the firm opened an office in Tampa, Fla.
Honkamp Krueger & Co. P.C., headquartered in Dubuque, Iowa, moved up five spots to rank 66 in the Top 100. Honkamp, also a leader in the Midwest region and as a firm to watch, saw revenue growth of more than 20 percent in the past year. In 2014, the firm merged in Moline, Ill.-based Crippen, Reid & Bowen.
AKT CPAs and Business Consulting, headquartered in Salem, Ore., ranked 82 in the Top 100. AKT, a regional leader in the West region, saw revenue growth of more than 11 percent in the past year. The firm celebrated its 40th anniversary, merged in San Diego-based Douglas G. Griffin CPA, and added two new industry niches in the past year.
Beyond the Top 100 – Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman was named a Firm to Watch. Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., the firm was also recognized as a regional leader in the Capital region.
Maxwell Locke & Ritter, headquartered in Austin, Texas, was recognized as a regional leader in the Southwest region and saw revenue growth of more than 13 percent.
In the New England region, firms Gray, Gray & Gray, from Westwood, Mass., and Meyers Brothers Kalicka, Holyoke, Mass., were both recognized as regional leaders.
