RepairPal, the leading resource for consumer auto repair, announces Steve Moretti has joined the company as Vice President & General Manager, Business Development.
Moretti will oversee all new business development and strengthen relationships with existing RepairPal partners including AARP, AOL Autos, Cars.com, Castrol, Consumer Reports, NAPA, U.S.News & World Report, and USAA.
“Steve brings a unique blend of expertise and perspective to what we are building at RepairPal,” said Art Shaw, CEO of RepairPal. “We’re excited to have one of the most connected, and well respected executives in the automotive industry take the lead on our business development and partnership strategy.”
Based on over 15 years working in the online automotive vertical, Moretti possesses an extensive background in strategic planning and securing key partnerships to bring disruptive growth into his role at RepairPal. His previous experience includes marketing, business development, strategy and product responsibilities at a number of blue chip finance and automotive companies such as Chase, Capital One, and Kelley Blue Book. Most recently, he spent the last 5 years working directly with the founders and executive team of TrueCar overseeing key initiatives that helped the company evolve automotive retail and become a public company. Moretti is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Automotive Executives Association, an exclusive membership group that includes over 100 of the most influential decision makers in the automotive industry.
“With the combination of our proprietary repair price estimation data, a nationwide network of trusted shops, millions of consumers engaging with our website, and our trusted brand, RepairPal is leading the evolution of automotive repair online. Our team has done a fantastic job building our organization, and I’m thrilled to join them to help accelerate our growth with consumers, repair facilities, partners and the industry,” says Moretti.
RepairPal is currently the fastest growing consumer focused website for auto repair with over 3 million monthly unique visitors, and manages the largest network of independent certified mechanics with over 1,000 RepairPal Certified auto repair shops nationwide.
RepairPal’s mission is to take the mystery out of auto repair. Launched in 2007, RepairPal developed a patented auto repair price estimator that educated consumers about the fair cost of auto repair. Arming consumers with knowledge of this kind was revolutionary in an industry that is riddled with negative stereotypes and poor consumer satisfaction. RepairPal has since expanded its product offering to build a nationwide network of certified repair shops that strive for a better car care experience marked by transparency and trust. All RepairPal Certified shops are pre-screened for quality, tools, training, and a commitment to honor the price guidelines set by the estimator. Learn more at http://www.repairpal.com.
