“C.A.R.E. conferences are key parts of the timeshare industry’s calendar...With a focus on networking and professional development, they bring people together and make it easy to meet and connect with other shared-ownership professionals.”

Resort Travel & Xchange(RTX) will sponsor the Speed Networking event at the 60th semiannual C.A.R.E. conference, May 2 – 5, at the Westin Annapolis, Annapolis, Md. The international timeshare exchange company also sponsored this event at C.A.R.E.’s spring and fall 2014 conferences. Each of these prior Speed Networking sessions drew nearly 100 attendees and was the conference’s favorite event based on participant feedback.
The C.A.R.E. Speed Networking event gives each delegate the opportunity to meet other attendees on a one-on-one basis. Participants provide two-minute introductions about their products and services in a quick succession of back-to-back meetings. The popular mixer takes place early during the conference to give delegates plenty of time to follow-up for more in-depth discussions and develop new relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners, which include representatives of resorts, travel companies, exchange companies, developers, travel agencies and resort service providers.
“We are delighted to once again sponsor this important part of the C.A.R.E. conference,” says Corina Violette, director of resort partnerships for RTX. “This enjoyable event is a great way to meet new people and connect with folks you may already know but didn’t realize you had common ground with for doing business together.
“C.A.R.E. conferences are key parts of the timeshare industry’s calendar,” Ms. Violette continues. “With a focus on networking and professional development, they bring people together and make it easy to meet and connect with other shared-ownership professionals.”
Now celebrating its 30th year, C.A.R.E. provides a networking platform and tools for individual business enhancement, while also requiring its member companies to adhere to its code of standards and ethics. C.A.R.E. member companies currently offer 2,500 vacation properties and service approximately one million vacation owners and members. This international trade association has members throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia.
With nearly 80,000 members, RTX offers a risk-free exchange program that allows members to confirm a suitable exchange before giving up access to their own allocated accommodation, in addition to a variety of other travel services, benefits and discounts.
