BuzzBoard Appoints Top Executives from MasterCard and Rocket Fuel to its Advisory Board

Randy Wootton, Chief Revenue Officer at Rocket Fuel, and David Galvan, VP, Business Development and Strategic Alliances for MasterCard International both join the BuzzBoard advisory team, effective immediately.

Mr. Galvan is a technology and Internet veteran, with more than 25 years of business and operating experience in Silicon Valley. At MasterCard International, Galvan focuses on relationships and investments with emerging companies in the digital space. Prior to that, Galvan was the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for 24 Hour Fitness. In addition, Galvan was the Chief Executive Officer at The Learning Annex, and has held executive level roles at companies, including Schedulicity, Topix LLC, Infogroup, Inc., Yahoo!, AOL/Netscape, Motorola and Unisys. The International Business Awards named Mr. Galvan Internet Executive of the Year in 2012. He is a frequent speaker on the Search and Local marketplace scene. A native Californian, Galvan is a graduate of Stanford University.
Mr. Wootton has more than 20 years of experience serving in major leadership roles across media and enterprise businesses, and ad tech firms. Prior to joining Rocket Fuel, where he is responsible for leading the company’s North American Sales and Services teams, Wootton was the VP of Customer Success Products at Salesforce.com. He held a variety of executive sales positions throughout his career at Microsoft, AdReady, and aQuantive. Mr. Wootton started his career as a naval aviator, and later co-founded Vet Force — a coalition of companies who are committed to training, certifying, and employing more than 10,000 veterans in cloud tech. Mr. Wootton graduated from the United States Naval Academy, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MALA from St. John’s College.
