Alliance Hospice Seeks Volunteers to Make a Meaningful Impact
Spring House, PA (PRWEB) March 18, 2015 -- Alliance Hospice announced today that it is seeking additional volunteers to help make a significant impact within the Alliance Hospice family of patients, caregivers and staff. With locations throughout Georgia and South Carolina, Alliance Hospice relies upon volunteers to assist with its overall mission to provide a rewarding quality of life for patients in their final days, and compassionate support to families and caregivers.
“Known for its excellent standard of hospice care, Alliance Hospice greatly values the profound impact that volunteers have upon our patients, families and caregivers, and we are looking to expand our network of volunteers,” stated R. Bruce Dalglish, Chairman and CEO of Alliance Hospice.
At Alliance Hospice, each volunteer shares his or her time with 1 to 5 nursing home patients or in-home patients based upon the patients’ availability and individual needs. Volunteers enjoy comforting patients through long talks, reading books, sharing prayer and devotion, assisting with light housekeeping, and offering relief to caregivers so they may attend to their own personal needs.
“Hospice care volunteers are typically very special and highly dedicated individuals,” stated Alliance Hospice CEO R. Bruce Dalglish. “While we welcome all sorts of kindhearted and devoted volunteers into our hospice care family, we are especially in need of volunteers with any of the following skills: music therapy, art therapy, massage therapy, pet therapy, hairdressing or lawn care.”
Alliance Hospice greatly values its devoted volunteers, and hopes to recruit new volunteers to experience how deeply moving and meaningful the hospice care experience is. For more information, please contact: info(at)alliancehospice(dot)com or (610) 828-3455.
