Braintrust Announces Upcoming Scrum Certification Training Classes in Tampa

Braintrust announces open registration for upcoming training classes: Certified Scrum Developer, Agile Engineering Practices, Scrum Essentials, and User Story Workshop to be held the week of April 27, 2015 in Tampa-Clearwater, FL.

The Braintrust Consulting Group chose Tampa as one of its main training cities because of the vibrant software development industry that resides in Central Florida.

The Braintrust Consulting Group, a worldwide leader in Agile, will host Scrum training classes the week of April 27, 2015 at Hampton Inn & Suites – Clearwater. Registration is now open for the following training classes: Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)-Track Two (5 days), Agile Engineering Practices (3 days), User Story Workshop (1 day) or Scrum Essentials (1 day).

Braintrust has bundled a series of classes including Scrum Essentials, Agile Engineering Practices, and User Story Workshop into an in-depth five-day training to earn Scrum Developer certification, as outlined by The Scrum Alliance.

The CSD Track Two course is ideal for professional software developers who are on a Scrum team and want to understand how Scrum and agile engineering practices are applied. It’s also ideal for candidates who have already completed ScrumMaster certification, software architects, software developers, or development managers.

Members of the Project Management Institute will earn 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward maintaining their existing credentials by attending this class. The Agile Engineering Practices course will also be open for registration independent of the CSD track on April 29-May 1, 2015. Braintrust will also open registration for the one-day, introductory-level Agile classes, Scrum Essentials and User Story Workshop.

Scrum Essentials (April 27-8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) offers attendees a one-day in-depth immersion into the world of Scrum. This class is an introduction to Scrum that requires no prerequisites and is full of practical, real world techniques that attendees can implement immediately at their workplace. User Story Workshop (April 28-8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) class is a one-day in-depth focus on how to gather Agile requirements and document them as User Stories. This class is ideal for business analysts, product managers/owners, and anyone who wants to understand how to adapt this Agile best practice.
