Right now there is a tremendous opportunity to assist organizations in the Middle East in building the skilled workforces they need to meet their business and growth goals.
Gainesville, Fla. (PRWEB) March 18, 2015
SumTotal Systems, LLC, a Skillsoft company and a leading provider of next-generation HR solutions, today announced the opening of its newest office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to deliver its Talent Expansion® applications to a growing number of customers, prospects and partners in the Middle East region.
HR leaders in the Middle East, which houses one of the largest potential workforces in the world, face the critical challenge of cultivating and sustaining skilled workforces. The mismatch between education and required skills for available jobs is significant. In PwC’s Middle East CEO Survey, 70 percent of survey respondents identified the availability of key skills as a potential business threat to their organization, with 72 percent of CEOs identifying the creation of a skilled workforce as a top priority over the next three years.
“We are committed to investing our resources where they are most needed by our customers and organizations looking to bridge skills gaps within their organizations. Right now there is a tremendous opportunity to assist organizations in the Middle East in building the skilled workforces they need to meet their business and growth goals,” said Hardeep Gulati, general manager and head of SumTotal. “By opening this new office in Dubai, we will be able to expand our operations to meet the region’s growing demand for learning and talent management. Our unified solutions will help organizations drive performance and address evolving business challenges by delivering highly-personalized information and actions that cultivate an evergreen source of talent with current and future employees.”
To kick off the opening, SumTotal will host an event with presentations from Jerry Nine, chief operating officer at Skillsoft; Humair Ghauri, senior vice president of products and technology at SumTotal; and David Boote, regional sales manager Middle East and Africa at SumTotal on April 23 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai Festival City.
“This global expansion emphasizes our commitment to provide an exceptional customer experience and empower organizations to help employees develop their skills and get better at their jobs while they’re doing them,” said David Boote, regional sales manager Middle East and Africa at SumTotal. “Establishing a presence in the Middle East will enable Skillsoft and SumTotal, in collaboration with the company’s strong regional partner network, to reach the organizations that are demanding best-in-class HR technology to spur innovation and grow their business.”
