Human Factors and Safety Management Seminar and Expo
Dallas TX (PRWEB) March 19, 2015 -- The Human Factors and Safety Management Seminar and Expo will be held in the Addison Conference Center, on June 24th and 25th. This years event features Workshops lead by Dr. Tony Kern, "Professionalism and it's Relationship to Safety, Ms. Brenda Tillman, "Emergency and Crisis Repose Planning - Critical Incident Stress Management", Mr Dan McCune, " Developing and Fostering a Positive Safety Culture" and Mr Gerald Kosbab, The BowTie Method of Safety Risk Management". 2015's schedule includes many great speakers and there will be a Panel Discussion titled "Safety 2020, which will include a cross-industry pane looking back with 20/230 hindsight at their safety management journey and their vision for safety management in the year 2020.
"We are excited to have a new venue this year that provides more space for the Seminar and exhibitors, and also allows us to have an improved format", said Mr D Smith, President of the International Society of Safety Professionals (ISSP). The seminar had been held at a different location for the past several years but we had just outgrown the capabilities of their facility Mr. Smith added. Mr. Dan McCune, Associate Vice President for Safety for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and I are very excited about some of the new offerings that we added including; the addition of more vendor space, the ability to provide smaller breakout sessions and easier access to parking and hotel accommodations.
The International Society of Safety Professionals are Safety Management Professionals from all communities of practice including; Petro Chemical, Oil and Gas, Aviation Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Mining, Health Care, Construction, General Industry, Transportation Safety, and Public Safety to name a few.
