Software companies’ alliance will give clients key deployment data

Method 180, a leading Microsoft licensing negotiation firm, announced today that it has forged a partnership with Block 64, a developer of IT asset management. Block 64’s proprietary tool, the BlackBox will now be available to customers of Method 180.

The tool allows Method 180 to quickly inventory deployed software in their clients’ environment in a rapid, non-intrusive manner. This allows the firm to quickly obtain accurate data about what the client has deployed in both Audit and Software Asset Management (SAM) situations.
