Oklahoma Department of Education Approves iCEV for Statewide Instruction
Lubbock, Texas (PRWEB) March 19, 2015 -- The Oklahoma Department of Education has approved iCEV, an online platform that produces and delivers comprehensive educational content, for statewide curricula. Developed by CEV Multimedia, a leading producer of Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum resources, iCEV is recommended by the state for Family & Consumer Sciences, Business & Marketing and Agricultural Science courses.
As a part of Oklahoma’s instructional materials adoption, school districts across the state can choose to access 61 iCEV courses that provide interactive online assessments and state-aligned coursework that promote student engagement and learning retention. The platform also aligns to exam objectives for courses that require end-of-course exams and fit within the iCEV curriculum. School districts can offer a wide-range of courses from the three curricula, including Chemistry of Food, Life Management, Natural Resources & Environmental Science, Animal Science, and Fashion Marketing, to name a few.
“We’re pleased to provide a comprehensive curriculum solution to school districts in Oklahoma,” said Dusty Moore, iCEV president. “By adding iCEV to the list of state-approved curriculum, educators and students have the opportunity to access quality education and career resources needed for today’s 21st century workforce.”
iCEV offers in-depth, interactive learning with professional demonstrations to prepare students for postsecondary education and future careers. Educators can quickly monitor, track and engage with students through the platform’s lessons. Additionally, iCEV offers students the opportunity to earn nationally recognized industry-backed certifications, such as the Southwest Airlines Professional Communications Certification, as they complete work toward their college and career goals.
