memoryBlue Hires Kristen Wisdorf As Firm’s First Director Of Talent
Washington, DC (PRWEB) March 19, 2015 -- This week memoryBlue announced the addition of Kristen Wisdorf as the firm’s first Director of Talent. Wisdorf will oversee a team responsible for hiring and developing an estimated 100 inside sales professionals over the next twelve months in Northern Virginia and Austin, Texas.
The Director of Talent is a new position for the inside sales consulting firm and serves as part of the company’s expansion plan of establishing a local presence in the top 20 high-tech markets in the United States. In addition to her talent acquisition and development responsibilities, Wisdorf will serve on the memoryBlue leadership team and help shape the company’s strategic direction.
“memoryBlue prides itself on hiring and developing high-tech sales talent and I welcome the challenge of scaling and improving what is an already impressive recruiting operation. It’s exciting to hit the recruiting trail given the company’s rich history in launching so many successful high-tech sales careers,” says Kristen Wisdorf.
Prior to joining memoryBlue, Wisdorf served as the Vice President of Sales Recruiting and Development for The AroundCampus Group where she led a team responsible for hiring 640 sales professionals from college campuses in four months.
“The high-tech sales talent with the highest upside is parading around a college campus right now. Kristen Wisdorf is a proven expert at hiring these valuable recruits from universities across the country. Adding her firepower to memoryBlue transforms our ability to land top sales talent for our clients,” says Chris Corcoran, Co-founder and Managing Partner.
Wisdorf is the eighth former AroundCampus professional to join memoryBlue as part of a strategic career partnership between the two companies.
