Eyeglass Design is Featured on "In America" with James Earl Jones
(PRWEB) March 20, 2015 -- The television program "In America," hosted by legendary actor James Earl Jones, recently announced that it will devote an entire segment on an upcoming episode to the topic of eyeglass design. Eyeglass design often needs to be a perfect blend of functionality and style, allowing a person to get the corrective vision benefits that they desperately need and look great at the same time.
In years passed, eyeglass design placed a heavy emphasis on functionality over all other attributes. So long as a pair of eyeglasses was able to correct a person's vision in a meaningful way, everything else was secondary. Modern day eyeglass design has taken things in a bold new direction, however, as these items have truly become fashion accessories. Many designers are also using technological innovation in a way that creates "smart glasses" at the same time. Eyeglass design is also largely responsible for doing away with the stigma commonly associated with eyeglass wearers in the last several years.
"In America" is not a production of APT or PBS, nor is it affiliated with those organizations in any way. It was created to be an entirely independent production and it airs on Public Television Stations in various markets across the country. It is distributed by Public Television.
