Taking coffee in a bold new direction, Nine Volt Coffee has developed a cold brew coffee that provides a darker, stronger, and smoother flavor compared to the competition.

The highly-anticipated Kickstarter campaign will be the catalyst for what is quickly gaining momentum among coffee enthusiasts. Restaurant owners have already taken notice, and Nine Volt Coffee is scheduled to be offered in a few of Denver's more popular hot spots, with verbal commitments already in place. "When I tried my first bottle of Nine Volt Cold Brew, I couldn't believe how smooth it was. I was actually craving another bottle the next day," said Steve Dirks, owner of Sunrise Sunset (one of metro Denver's most popular breakfast and lunch restaurants).

Cold brew is a popular and growing staple in the coffee world. The process of making it involves combining purified water with coffee grounds and “cold brewing” for anywhere between 10-24 hours. The final product contains less oils and acids than other popular brewing methods, and is easier on the stomach. This makes it a popular choice for those that are health conscious, or just looking for a smoother and more flavorful coffee experience.

The Nine Volt Coffee brand is positioning itself as a modern, refined, and sophisticated cold brew — taking visual cues from fine liquor labels, mid-century design aesthetic, and terms such as "aged for 24 hours" in order to bring an elevated level of fun and excitement to the overall brand experience. "Nine Volt Coffee has a full finish that lasts just the right amount of time. It's the kind of drink that you enjoy, not chug in the morning to wake up," says coffee enthusiast Jason Gernstein.
