With a keen recognition that we are living in the Age of the Internet, Social Media Tulsa is hosting its fifth annual conference on March 26–27, 2015. Recently featured as part of Digital Third Coast’s 2015 Digital Marketing Conference Guide, SMTULSA Conference is the area’s only conference and expo for bloggers, content creators, small business innovators, mobile, and social media enthusiasts.

The 2015 SMTULSA Conference brings several innovative and knowledgeable experts to Tulsa, a growing hub of social media in the Midwest. Keynote speakers Becky McCray and Eric T. Tung will headline two days of fact-filled sessions for social media aficionados of all experience levels.

Eric T. Tung was recognized as having the most influential social media network in the world and is ranked among the top 5% of social media consultants.

Becky McCray, an entrepreneur from Northwest Oklahoma, is a recognized expert in rural small business. She is co-author with Chicago entrepreneur Barry Moltz of the award-winning book, Small Town Rules, and her blog, Small Biz Survival, ranks in the top 20 small business blogs worldwide. Tung, a social media manager and trainer with BMC Software Global Communications, has been recognized as having the most influential social media network in the world and is ranked among the top 5% of social media consultants.

Other speakers include Jill Castilla, President and CEO of Citizens Bank of Edmond; Kari Mirabal, founder and lead “Sherpa” for business consultant firm JuMar Services; David Christopher, founder of Confluence conference, Oklahoma City’s digital marketing and creativity conference; Hank Byrd, writer of the sci-fi screenplay “Dinner with Harry”; Missy David, the award-winning mommy blogger turned entrepreneur known as “The Honeybee Mama”; Dr. Adam C. Earnheardt, chair and associate professor of communication studies in the Department of Communication at Youngstown State University, and fifteen other speakers.
