Houston eDiscovery Leader Adds Early Data Assessment Reporting, Load File Generation to Automated Cloud-Based Processing Application

eDiscovery leader CloudNine™, today announces the release of new features for its Discovery Client, the company’s application that provides self-service automated eDiscovery processing. The latest version of Discovery Client now includes generation of Early Data Assessment (EDA) reports and a “Load File Only” option that enables clients to process their data and generate load files to load the data into their preferred review platform.

A leader in the electronic discovery field, CloudNine specializes in providing electronic discovery and litigation support software and services for management and processing of electronically stored information. The company’s cloud-based eDiscovery online review platform is completely browser-independent and is currently used by over fifty of the top 250 law firms. Do It Yourself features such as automated processing and loading your own data, adding your own users and fields, accessing audit logs and setting user rights give clients unique control of their review process.

CloudNine Discovery’s 100% automated upload process includes native file extraction from container files (such as Outlook PSTs and ZIP Files), metadata & text extraction and indexing, OCR of image files, duplicate identification, HTML creation and EDA report creation, streamlining the process to get started reviewing documents for discovery.

Bill David, CTO of CloudNine, remarked, “Our new features make CloudNine’s Discovery Client ideal for processing data, whether clients use our online eDiscovery review platform, have their own preferred platform or are simply looking to analyze their data to estimate processing and review costs.”

“Now, regardless what review platform you use, you don’t have to swap phone calls, emails and forms with a vendor to get your data processed,” states Brad Jenkins, CEO of CloudNine. “And, our option to generate EDA reports will be ideal for people who want to get vital insight into their data set at the outset of a case before loading that data for review.”

Through April 30, CloudNine is offering free unlimited generation of Early Data Assessment (EDA) reports to enable organizations to try the new reporting feature on their data.
