Quality Matters Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference Focuses on Quality Assurance in Online Education
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) March 21, 2015 -- Quality Matters (QM), a leader in quality assurance for online education, is having its Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference, “With Liberty and Quality for All,” in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Monday, March 23, 2015.
Hosted by Drexel University Online, this two-day conference features more than 30 workshops and sessions focused on quality assurance in online education. Tanya Joosten, director of eLearning Research and Development at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, will keynote the conference, addressing the promotion of student access and success through research.
“The conference features many opportunities for learning, collaboration and networking, including takeaways for instructors who are looking for great ideas for their online and blended courses,” said Deb Adair, managing director and chief planning officer for QM. “Attendees will see case studies in quality assurance approaches and learn about research initiatives and ways to participate.”
The focus of the QM Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference will allow educators to learn new pedagogical approaches and collect other tools for use in online and blended programs to improve learner experiences and outcomes, promote interaction and develop high-quality courses.
