We have a growing number of professionals who have completed Advanta U course curriculum and received their certificates of accomplishment that tout them as self-directed IRA specialists.

Advanta IRA University (Advanta U) is a series of sophisticated yet simple and engaging educational courses designed to teach certain professionals about self-directed retirement plans. Graduates receive a self-directed IRA specialist designation and enough knowledge to benefit themselves and their clients by knowing how these plans work to build tax-free or tax-deferred income for retirement. Graduates are also listed on the retirement firm’s website as professional resources.

“We have a growing number of professionals who have completed Advanta U course curriculum and received their certificates of accomplishment that tout them as self-directed IRA specialists,” says Jack Callahan, managing partner of Advanta IRA Services in Florida. “As such, they can assist other investors and professionals in aspects of how self-direction works and the alternative investments, such as real estate, permissible in these accounts."

Advanta U offers critical courses at no cost to CPAs, realtors, and attorneys to provide powerful knowledge of self-directed IRAs and like accounts used to build retirement income on a tax-free or tax-deferred basis. The number of attendees of the program is growing as more of these professionals realize the powerful knowledge they walk away with upon completion.

By becoming a designated self-directed IRA specialist, these individuals are able to facilitate better service to existing clients and also cultivate an entirely new class of clients—who are investors. Additionally, graduates also learn how to control their own investment funds and decisions using self-directed IRAs.
