ACR, Inc. Staff Achieve "Certified Restorer" Designation
Wheeling, IL (PRWEB) March 25, 2015 -- ACR, Inc. proudly announces that both John Schaefer and Michael Smolka have now earned the restoration industry's highest professional designation, Certified Restorer® (CR) by the Restoration Industry Association (RIA). The CR designation is commonly viewed as the "Ph.D." of restoration industry education, requiring a long list of prerequisite educational requirements.
The RIA says of the Certified Restorer® designation, "This is the highest recognition awarded in the cleaning and restoration industry to professionals engaged in property damage restoration as a result of fire, smoke, water, vandalism and other perils." There are only approximately 220 active Certified Restorers® in the entire world. Schaefer, ACR's Director of Operations, and Smolka, Project Manager, join a very select group of restoration professionals in the world who have earned the right to bear CR credentials.
"ACR has been dedicated to industry education for our staff for decades and this is a great moment in our relentless pursuit of knowledge. One CR on staff is worthy of a major celebration, but TWO...that's just beyond amazing," said Jim O'Callaghan, co-founder and Managing Director of ACR. "John and Michael's CR designations bring even more value to our clients by means of superior understanding of losses and recoveries in every facet. While we're always very proud of the abundance of certifications and designations earned by our company and staff continuously, having two CR's among us is an achievement that is extremely rare indeed."
