They need a secure, yet easy-to-use solution for managing their confidential deals, and CapLinked’s highly configurable platform is the best in the market.”
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 26, 2015
Deal management platform CapLinked announced today that it has partnered with Johannesburg-based communications agency Ince to make its technology available throughout Africa. The partnership brings together the innovative company from California’s “Silicon Beach” that’s disrupting the stodgy field of virtual data rooms (VDRs) with South Africa’s leading communication services firm that boasts nine decades of history and excellence.
Under the partnership, Ince will exclusively make CapLinked’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology available throughout sub-Saharan Africa under the brand name InceLink. CapLinked’s software is used by companies to manage complex business transactions such as financings, rights sales, asset-backed securities, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Its cloud-based technology lets clients control access to sensitive documents while managing the collaborative workflow required to close multi-company deals. CapLinked will be replacing VDR provider Intralinks as Ince’s software partner for deal management.
“Partnering with CapLinked enables us to provide the industry-best deal management software to our clients,” said Ince CEO Alban Atkinson. “We work with many of the largest and most well-known corporations and banks in South Africa and throughout the African continent. They need a secure, yet easy-to-use solution for managing their confidential deals, and CapLinked’s highly configurable platform is the best in the market.”
Backed by some of Silicon Valley’s most high profile venture capitalists—including Peter Thiel (the co-founder of PayPal), Founders Fund, and 500 Startups—CapLinked has grown rapidly by providing a new alternative for managing deals and sensitive projects. Companies previously had to rely on email, spreadsheets, and 1990s-era virtual data rooms to manage deals. CapLinked stepped into the void and has grown rapidly since exiting beta just two years ago, becoming the deal management platform of choice for many well-known corporations, private equity funds, and financial service firms. Its clients include Ernst & Young, Sunbelt Business Brokers, Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, Frontier Airlines, and Competitive Power Ventures.
Ince is a proudly South African company, founded in the 1920s as a family-run print shop for Rand pioneers. Today, through innovative exploration and bold diversification, they are a leading provider of communication solutions across various mediums to clients throughout South Africa and beyond. Their national teams of skilled and passionate individuals are based in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape. Their number includes strategists, creatives, marketers, IT experts, artisans, financial gurus and a host of other professionals – all united around finding the best solution for the most general or specific communication requirements of a broad client base.
“We are proud to be working with a market-leader like Ince,” said CapLinked CEO Eric M. Jackson. “Ince has a storied 90-year history of being at the forefront of providing communications services to corporate clients in South Africa. We are excited that CapLinked will be their partner in offering clients a secure way to manage complex, sensitive deals.”
