Regulators need a system to automate and streamline their operations. A system with the flexibility to adapt to a changing industry.

The increasing popularity of ridesharing services has prompted regulatory authorities to revise rules, regulations, and ordinances governing vehicle for hire operations.

After spending significant time researching this industry, Mitchell Humphrey & Co. (MH&Co.) determined there was a need for a flexible, comprehensive solution for vehicle for hire regulators. Now, the company is proud to announce the official release of the Vehicle for Hire Regulation Management Software, an addition to their FastTrackGov suite of software products.

“This industry is currently undergoing continual change. Regulators need a system to automate and streamline their operations. A system with the flexibility to adapt to a changing industry. That is what we offer with this module of FastTrackGov,” stated Beth Humphrey, Account Executive and Vehicle for Hire Industry Specialist at MH&Co.

MH&Co.’s FastTrackGov Vehicle for Hire Regulation Management Software automates driver, owner and vehicle registration, licensing/permitting, inspections, code enforcement, medallion inventory tracking, customer compliments or complaints, and numerous other functions specific to the vehicle for hire industry. The software has been designed to benefit all stakeholders in the vehicle for hire industry including: drivers, owners, inspectors, code enforcement staff, citizens, and management.

Drivers, owners, and citizens can complete and submit any application or form online along with any required documentation. In addition, they have the ability to communicate with regulatory agency staff and will receive real-time updates of their application status through the FastTrackGov portal.

Inspectors and code enforcement staff can complete inspections, issue warnings and citations, and sign documents electronically in the field. FastTrackGov enables them to access statutes, codes, and ordinances electronically with a simple keyword search when performing any of these functions. In addition, the system can automatically compute fines, points, and suspension days based on the number and/or severity of violations.

Management can track everything in real-time, including online submissions from citizens, warnings and citations, medallion inventory, fees, fines, points, and suspensions. System-generated notifications, alerts, and emails can be communicated to all interested parties. With its built-in controls and data-sharing capabilities, errors are minimized and revenues are maximized.

MH&Co.’s FastTrackGov product is built on the Microsoft Dynamics® CRM platform. The system can be deployed in either a hosted or on-premise environment.

“This system is user-friendly and convenient for all parties involved in the regulatory operation. It has robust security, real-time dashboards, and comprehensive and easy-to-use reporting tools,” explains Beth Humphrey.

MH&Co. is a proud member of the Airport Ground Transportation Association (AGTA), the International Association of Transportation Regulators (IATR), and the Taxicab, Limousine, and Paratransit Association (TLPA) and will be attending conferences for each of these groups in 2015.
