Color accents for the RiCase allow OEMs designing test and measurement, automated test equipment, or medical systems to match their systems to their corporate color scheme or to color-coordinate their systems with their surroundings.

Pixus Technologies, a supplier of electronic packaging systems and components and the exclusive North and South American supplier of Rittal Electronic Packaging products, now offers standardized RiCase table-top and system enclosures with custom color design elements. The corner caps and color accent elements, such as such as side panel trim and tower bases, can be produced in all available RAL colors. Standard RiCases are available as catalog products with trim in the RAL colors turquoise blue (RAL 5018), light blue (RAL5012), and stone gray (RAL7030). The structural elements of all RiCases are based on extruded aluminum panels, spray finished in light gray (RAL 7035).

In addition to the robustness of RiCase enclosures, system design aspects can be important to customers. The custom color design elements give customers the chance to match their corporate identity, to increase their brand awareness and recognition of their applications, as well as to distinguish themselves from competitors. The custom color adjustments can also be utilized in applications that need to be color-coordinated with their surroundings.

OEMs utilize RiCases to house instrumentation and custom electronics products. Because of the flexibility and configurability of RiCases, either custom electronics or a subrack that houses card-based designs can be integrated into a RiCase. Standard trim color RiCases are available in 7 to 9 weeks; custom trim color RiCases are available in 12 to 14 weeks with a minimum order quantity of 100.
