Career Step to Exhibit at the AAPC 2015 HealthCon in Las Vegas March 29 through 31

Two of the largest issues facing the HIM industry that Career Step will be focusing on at this event are the ICD-10 transition and the growing shortage of medical coding and billing professionals. With the ICD-10 implementation date on track for October 1, 2015, organizations have less than a year to finish preparing their coders and other staff members for the new code set. The training and preparation required to be ready for this transition is being compounded by the increasing lack of medical coding professionals in the industry.
