InfoSnap will increase the level of accuracy by eliminating the illegible paperwork we would receive on an annual basis, which will positively impact our state and federal reporting.

North Country Supervisory Union 31 in Newport, Vermont, partnered with InfoSnap to move student enrollment and registration online. InfoSnap’s award winning integration with PowerSchool, North Country’s student information system, will effectuate real-time, on-demand data transfer. The customized solution will streamline data collection for new and annual student registration, resulting in an improved business process.
“Once the district assessed the amount of money and time spent to assemble packets, it became evident that we needed to have a better process in place. InfoSnap is going to streamline our registration process, making it easier for families and school staff,” said John Peters, Director of Technology at North Country.
The online solution from InfoSnap will provide families with an effective method for enrolling and registering their child/children at their own convenience. Families who have more than one child within the district can ‘snap’ data from one student to another. The use of SmartForm™ technology, an intuitive tool built into the solution, will collect relevant data based on previously entered information or choices (grade, activities, medical history, etc.).
The data submitted by families is reviewed, polished, and formatted to meet North Country’s policies and then delivered into PowerSchool. The district is also considering the implementation of InfoSnap’s Payment Management Service, which will allow administrators to easily collect and report on all fees and donations at the time of form submission.
“InfoSnap will increase the level of accuracy by eliminating the illegible paperwork we would receive on an annual basis, which will positively impact our state and federal reporting,” notes Peters.
North Country Supervisory Union 31 will set up kiosks at the school for families who don’t have internet access at home. “We are going to implement InfoSnap at the high school for the upcoming school year and eventually have the solution in place for all 13 schools,” said Peters.
The district will incorporate free and reduced lunch forms within their solution. InfoSnap will help North Country build out the correct custom forms based on their state policies and then embed it as part of their registration process for families. “We’re looking forward to the launch of our solution. Our superintendent transferred from a district that uses InfoSnap and he values their level of experience. We’ll have an efficient system in place that will enhance many of our business processes,” said Peters.
