Camel Express Car Wash has been in planning stages for the last year and with the site selected, the site engineering has been a creative challenge. "We have employed a traffic engineer to analyze surrounding traffic patterns and also to optimize the actual flow of traffic on the site" says founder Read Hauck.
Immediately, the engineers realized once they began to look at the layout of the site that the drivers would be much better served with an additional third lane to serve as a "fast pass" only lane. The traditional wait at any Nashville car wash is up to 10-15 minutes on any given Saturday. The Camel Express looks at this as a tremendous competitive edge.
This technology will allow the monthly unlimited wash club member to pass through the pay stations in one fourth of the typical time. It stands to reason that there will be more customers who are likely to use this membership if they are able to quickly get in and out of the car wash in half the time. This frees them up to then go about the rest of their day.
Camel Express has contracted with engineers and their software developers to create a proprietary mobile app for android and iOS that will use the Estimote beacon technology to sense when the drivers car enters the site. Once the customer pulls to the pay station, the Camel Express app in their phone tells the gate to open.
The customer must be a monthly unlimited wash club member to use this technology. Pricing on the monthly wash clubs will begin at an introductory price of $9.00 per month.
The Camel Express Car Wash is planning to be the longest tunnel car wash in Nashville. With a 130-foot express tunnel, they will offer the latest car wash equipment throughout the tunnel to provide customers with the cleanest car possible in the shortest amount of time. There will also be an area for free unlimited vacuum use at one of 20 vacuum/inspection stations.
This particular car wash will employ the latest in customer-focused technology. Beginning with a Camel Express Car Wash that will accept payment using the new ApplePay payment system as well as PayPals new Ibeacon payment technology which senses when the customer pulls onto the premises and initiates payment via smartphone without the driver even having to roll the window down.
The Camel Express is constructing a state of the art tunnel light show using elements such as lasers and LED strobe lights to ensure the customers are entertained while they are on site. Pricing will start at $5.00 for a basic wash and there will be larger wash packages available. There are discounts associated with the monthly-unlimited wash club memberships that will be offered.
