Austin Homebuyers Have a Chance to Create the Home They’ve Always Wanted with a Pinterest-Inspired Home

The special Pinterest package is designed to help buyers create the kitchen they’ve always wanted and draws on the builder’s affinity for Pinterest. Taylor Morrison was the first major homebuilder to use the popular social media on a large scale, debuting a Pinterest-inspired home at Ladera in Austin in 2012.
“Pinterest is a terrific resource for us as a homebuilder because it helps inform our design,” said Michael Lindeman, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Austin division. “Like many homeowners, we use the inspiration we’ve gained from pinning to help design our homes, only when we’re designing homes we’re doing it for our customers. It’s our way of listening, learning and giving homebuyers what they’re looking for in their next home.”
From March 6 to May 31, Austin homebuyers can get more of what they want in their next home when they select a new to-be-built home from any of the homebuilder’s nine Austin communities.
Customers will receive select options such as a farm sink, motion-activated kitchen faucet and a kitchen island with accent color. Availability varies by community. Buyers can also choose $5,000 in design center options instead of the Pinterest package. Some restrictions apply.
“There’s no more waiting to have the designs in your home that inspire you or that you want off your wish list,” Lindeman said. “With our Pinterest package, you can have those wish list items now.”
With homes that range from the $200,000s to $500,000s, Taylor Morrison is offering the opportunity to select a customizable Pinterest package to all homebuyers. Currently, Taylor Morrison builds in Austin, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Leander and Round Rock.
