Switch Matrices: Software controlled switching solutions - MS-series, MP-series and CB-series in addition to Custom Solutions.
MP-Series: Multiple switches
The MS-series is a switch solution populated with individual bi-directional switches to allow the user to control multiple coaxial switches easily through software.
It gives the user the flexibility to add as many switches as needed (limited to the size of the enclosure) on the rear panel or inside the box starting with a 19” 1RU chassis up to 4RU (and larger enclosures for
custom designs).
MP-Series: 1x13 to 1x143 switch configuration
MP-series is a bi-directional multiplexer with the capability to switch one input to as many as 143 outputs. The input/output ports are bidirectional.
Design starts from 1x13 to 1x143 (1RU-4RU enclosure) and can be customized to support a larger configuration. It is available with maximum frequency at 18 GHz or 26.5 GHz, both terminated and non-terminated options along with SMA or N-type connectors.
CB-Series: 2x2 to 12x12 switch configuration
For more complex test setups and signal switching, the CB-series crossbar matrix is an excellent choice.
It allows testing of multiple UUT/DUT (units/devices under test) with many input/output signals or high speed communication buses without having to connect and disconnect them from the setup. A crossbar system can route any input signal to any output port such that the path between the I/O ports is unique at any given time.
SATCOM Systems: SATCOM Integrated 19” Rack Solutions.
Solid state based switches with fan-out/fan-in configurations are ideal for SATCOM applications where high density RF switching (transmitting and receiving) for narrowband, low frequency and low power applications are required. Dow-Key offers multiple standard solutions and has vast experience in custom designing SATCOM solutions per customer requirement.
Coaxial Switches: Bi-directional RF switches from 1x2 to 1x14 configurations for all applications up to 40 Hz.
U.S. based Dow-Key Microwave designs and manufactures coaxial switches configured as SPDT all the way up to SP14T for all types of switching applications with frequency bands from DC to 40 GHz. Dow-Key offer switches that can handle low RF power to extreme high power; along with high isolation, low insertion loss and low VSWR capabilities. High repeatability switches up to 5 Million life cycles are available and Low PIM switches for Low PIM applications are also specialties of Dow-Key. Reliant Switch: New switch series and design for high repeatability ATE applications
Dow-Key's new Reliant Switch™ is a one-by-six (1x6) or one-by-two (1x2) bidirectional coaxial switch with a wide operating frequency range extending from DC to 26.5GHz. The switch can operate both in break-before-make (cold-switching) or make-before-break (hot-switching) applications and has a fast switching speed of 15 ms. The Reliant Switch™ offers a variety of control options including +24Vdc coil voltage, TTL discrete logic, and CAN bus.
