Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts Announces Inaugural Worksite Wellness Awards New Awards Program Accepting Applications on April 1, 2015
Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 06, 2015 -- The Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts (WWCMA) has announced the launch of its new WorkWell Massachusetts Awards program aimed to recognize best practices in worksite wellness programming among employers in the Commonwealth. Applications will be accepted April 1 through May 15, 2015. The WorkWell Massachusetts Awards program will recognize Massachusetts’ employers of all industries and sizes that are committed to creating a healthier worksite.
Applications for gold, silver and bronze recognition will require a two-step process:
1) Complete the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) Employee Health Management Best Practices scorecard. The HERO scorecard assesses: strategic planning, targeted planning, program design and integration, engagement and evaluation.
2) Complete a set of supplemental questions to understand your organization’s wellness program and top line areas of overall wellness programming and results.
“We’re excited to be offering this new program and bring awareness to the importance of living healthier lives. Not only will these awards recognize employers with healthy worksites, but it will provide excellent examples for others to follow,” states Archana Kansagra, WWCMA Board Director and Awards & Recognition Board Chair.
A committee of independent industry professionals who have been appointed by WWCMA will review the applications. Winners will be notified in August and announced at the WWCMA’s 4th Annual Conference at Gillette Stadium in September 2015.
Applications for the 2015 WorkWell Massachusetts Awards will be open from April 1 – May 15, 2015 and accessible through WWCMA’s website.
A WorkWell Massachusetts Awards Q&A session is scheduled for April 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM ET. Interested applicants are encouraged to register.
