Election is a must-have presidential election strategy game

StartUp Games, LLC today announced that the Election board game is now available for order. Election is a game of campaign strategy for the family, the classroom, or even a college curriculum. Each player (up to 4) battles it out for the presidency of the United States. A thoughtful campaign strategy is required, including fund raising, campaign finance management, polling, recruiting volunteers, buying ads, and strategically placing votes in states. Win enough electoral college votes to become the next President of the United States. Be sure to read the Daily News cards and watch out for the "Dark Horse" candidate that can steal your volunteers.

“The Election board game grew out of my fifth grade son’s interest in presidents and politics,” explained Michael Ehrenreich, co-founder with his wife and two children of StartUp Games. “We sketched out the concept and then refined and developed the game. It is without a doubt the best election simulation game out there.”

Election is fun for the whole family and will have your children jumping up and down thrilled to have just become the next President of the United States. It is also an ideal teaching aid for the classroom, reinforcing civics, geography, the electoral college system, and strategic planning. It is challenging at any level, from child to adult.

“It’s especially timely heading into the 2016 presidential election cycle,” continued Ehrenreich. “This game should be in every home and every classroom.”

StartUp Games, LLC is the publisher of StartUp and Election. The company was founded by Michael Ehrenreich, his wife Rebecca Gelman, and their two children, Aiden (then age 9) and Zachary (then age 7), during Hurricane Sandy when the family had some unexpected time stuck at home. The StartUp business game was the company’s first game, followed this year with Election.
