Putin, Netanyahu, Obama and Erdogan set a great example for their nations on the importance of healthy lifestyle.

Health Fitness Revolution, founded by renowned fitness expert and four-time No. 1 Fitness Trainer in the World Samir Becic, has created a new list of the Top 13 Fittest Heads of State 2015, which recognizes the world’s fittest leaders in terms of physical fitness, health and wellness. This list is the first and only list of its kind to detail the health and fitness habits of reigning kings, presidents and prime ministers.

Among the world leaders profiled on the list are Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, Russia’s Vladimir Putin, King Felipe of Spain and United States President Barack Obama, to name a few. Whether they participate in triathlons, practice martial arts or are former Olympic athletes, these heads of state are a prime example to their citizens that being healthy and fit is an important and essential aspect to success.

"Many dominant world leaders practice a healthy lifestyle and physical fitness, and they are realizing that it is a crucial element in performing their duty and looking out for the best interest of their countries," Becic said. "Some of the most dominant leaders are on this list, and they are determining the future of our civilization. Health and fitness is becoming a factor that cannot be ignored. My recommendation to all future world leaders is to have health and fitness as their priority, not only because they will improve their health, discipline, focus, self-esteem, self-awareness, productivity and positive attitude, but also because they can be great health and fitness ambassadors to their own citizens."

In addition to the top 13 listed, eight other world leaders were also given honorable mention for their health and fitness.
