For me life is about making memories with our closest relationships. I wanted to leave them a memory that hopefully they will one day share with their children and grandchildren.

Mira Digital Publishing is proud to announce Clip Clop Christmas. Mark Brauninger's first self-published book is a 32 page rhyming Christmas story with glossy full-color illustrations. Brauninger raises Clydesdale horses, so it was only natural for him to make them the star of his story.

Brauninger said he wrote the story for his grandkids, who love it when he tells them stories as they explore the farm together. He added, "For me life is about making memories with our closest relationships. I wanted to leave them a memory that hopefully they will one day share with their children and grandchildren."

Clip Clop Christmas will be sold in the merchandise store at the 2015 National Clydesdale Sale. The sale is being held at the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, MO from April 24-25. Mark and his illustrator David Williamson will also be doing two book signings during the event. Brauninger, a native Texan, grew up with an inherent love for horses. His first horse was a quarter horse mare named Lula. After graduating from Texas A&M and going to work for Anheuser Busch, he was introduced to the World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Now retired from the corporate world, Mark and his wife Alice work together caring for their own herd of Monarrch Clydesdales (http://www.monarrchclydes.com).
