EB Medicine’s monthly journal, Emergency Medicine Practice—featuring diagnosis, treatment, and other clinical information—is now available in a highly intuitive mobile application.

EB Medicine, leading publisher of clinical journals, Emergency Medicine Practice, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice, and Hospital Medicine Practice, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with AgileMD to provide the content from its flagship publication, Emergency Medicine Practice, in a mobile application format available on iPhones, iPads and Android smartphones and tablets.

“Our collaboration with AgileMD to develop mobile applications for EB Medicine’s journals is a big step toward providing physicians, residents, PAs, and nurse practitioners with the clinical information they need, when they need it,” says Stephanie Williford, CEO and Publisher of EB Medicine. “This will allow clinicians to more quickly access diagnosis and treatment information, ultimately enabling them to provide more effective and efficient care for their patients in the ED and other emergency care settings.”

Published since 1999, Emergency Medicine Practice has been (and will continue to be) delivered in print and digital formats. Starting April 1, 2015, Emergency Medicine Practice will also be available via the AgileMD iOS and Android applications.

We're excited to partner with EB Medicine to bring cutting-edge clinical references and decision support to every emergency clinician's fingertips,” says Borna Safabakhsh, cofounder and CEO of AgileMD. “EB Medicine's long-standing tradition and commitment to high-quality, evidence-based content sets the standard—and aligns with our platform's mission to enable every clinician to have instant, point-of-care access to the very best tools available so they can deliver the highest standard of care for their patients."

The Emergency Medicine Practice mobile application, powered by AgileMD, provides users with advanced functionality that allows for advanced search of the entire publication library—enabling physicians to access hundreds of topics from their mobile device in the ED. The content is updated in real time so that new clinical topics are available to the users as soon as they are released.

The application also features easy-to-use reference tools, such as bookmarking and note-taking, that enable practitioners to easily follow up on cases and finish research as their schedule allows.
The mission of EB Medicine’s publications and mobile application is to help residents, physicians, and other practitioners continue to build on their clinical expertise and provide the highest level of care possible – while earning much-needed CME credit.
