India Network Health Insurance Today Announces New Eligibility Criteria for Pre-existing Condition Health Insurance Coverage for Visitors to the United States
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) March 28, 2015 -- India Network visitor health insurance announced that pre-existing conditions coverage is made available to all visitors who purchase the plan before arrival in the United States, effective immediately. All members are encouraged to purchase the insurance program as soon as travel plans are finalized to avoid lack of proper coverage for pre-existing medical conditions. Parents and grandparents traveling from India invariably suffer from one or two medical conditions with serious consequences to their health. Many visitors may not even be aware that they are suffering from a pre-existing medical condition such as diabetes or blood pressure. India Network health insurance, sponsored by India Network Foundation, USA for the last 25 years has been providing excellent health insurance coverage for visitors of all ages 0-99 with various medical conditions under two different plans – a fixed coverage plan and a comprehensive PPO network plan.
Pre-existing medical condition coverage under the India Network health insurance is a very special one. In essence, pre-existing medical conditions are treated on par with new medical conditions and covered for both outpatient and inpatient care under the ACE network and ACE premier insurance plans. In addition to medical coverage, all plans include $25,000 accidental death benefit, medical evacuation, and repatriation benefits. Many families today depend on India Network visitor health insurance plans for their parents and grandparents' visits to the United States. Visitors who are already in the United States and have not taken the plan so far will be considered for pre-existing conditions coverage as a special case as long as the visitors are not sick and require immediate medical attention.
Dr. KV Rao, President of India Network Foundation said that "India Network health insurance became the only program for visitors aged 70 and over and has been burdened with higher risk visitors in recent years. All Asian Indian community members should extend their support to the program by active participation and that is the only way that the program can continue to offer valuable coverage for elderly parents and grandparents."
