“We want accountability and answers to what happened to Zikarious,” says Shamanique Flint

Zikarious Flint was killed March 30, 2014 in an incident involving Columbus State University Police Officer Ben Scott. According to the death certificate, Flint was shot once in the back and once in the back of the head. Flint was shot while running from officers on campus. The family is still waiting for answers to their questions on what exactly happened one year ago.

Attorney Katonga L. Wright, Esq. of The Wright Legal Group, LLC, spokesperson for the Flint family stated, “On the anniversary of the death of Zikarious Flint, we are concerned about the time it has taken for the family to get information about the case.
