Costa Mesa, Calif. The presentations at each of the sites will include premiere screened content, engaging self-exploration activities, and will feature special guest speakers: community leaders who will share with the students the trials and triumphs that led them to their professional position today. The first event, located at Portland Community College, will feature NBA Executive of the Portland Trail Blazers, Sarah Petrone. Mt. Hood Community College will host VIP speaker Mayor Shane Bemis. Bob Ragon of Douglas Timber Operators will speak at Phoenix School, and Brent MacCluer, Founding Partner at AHM Brands, will be the featured speaker at Early College and Career Options High School.
The schools and organizations adopting Roadtrip Nation’s career exploration curriculum will have exclusive access to the content archive, which contains hundreds of interviews with passionate leaders from all industries, sharing how they reached their path to success.
The four presentations in Oregon are a part of the overall cross country Spring Educational Roadie Tour that Roadtrip Nation has provided through it’s partnership with AT&T Aspire, which aims to connect students and communities across America. Roadies travel across the country in Roadtrip Nation’s iconic green RV, igniting excitement among youth to discover the many existing career opportunities related to their personal interests. Upon the conclusion of each presentation, students, educators, and media are able to explore the iconic green RV, which contains signatures and words of advice from the many leaders and celebrities interviewed in the past 15 years.
