Solidifying the organization’s continued growth, and adding unique travel industry expertise, Deren Baker, the CEO of Jumpshot, joins Rivet’s advisory board.
Formerly Vice President of Customer, Koltz now manages the newly integrated customer service and sales teams, an organizational innovation to enable customer relationship building across the sales and support lifecycle, of utmost importance in software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses such as Rivet. During her tenure with Rivet, Koltz helped lead the company’s beta software program resulting in the conversion of world-class brands to Rivet customers. As Vice President of Marketing, Pratt continues to oversee Rivet’s messaging, content and design initiatives, and now leads the company’s renewed focus on user-generated content’s unparalleled ability to connect with consumers in the travel and hospitality spaces. As the organization’s Director of Marketing, Pratt led the company’s November re-branding process, which positioned Rivet as the first all-inclusive content marketing solution promoting active engagement between people and their favorite brands.
“Rivet's customers have embraced authentic visual content from their guests and we are scaling our efforts to better serve their global businesses needs,” said Michael Svatek, CEO of Rivet. “I am delighted that we have two outstanding executives with the business with the skills, passion and experience to lead our continued expansion.”
New Rivet advisory board member Deren Baker is a travel industry veteran who served in leadership roles in Travelocity (acquired by Expedia) and City Search. Baker currently serves as the CEO of Jumpshot, which produces a market intelligence platform that utilizes the world’s largest source of aggregated data to provide marketers with unique, actionable insights. Prior to his time at Jumpshot, Baker spent seven years at Switchfly, a SaaS technology company that powers commerce and loyalty redemption solutions for some of the most recognized travel and hospitality brands. As the company’s COO, Baker drove product management and strategy, as well as account management, professional services, and analytics functions. While at Switchfly, Baker was responsible for the company’s P&L and facilitated growth of the company’s revenue 500 percent from 2008 to 2014.
"Traveler-generated content including photos, video and commentary are critically important to the decision process, giving travelers greater confidence to book online,” added Svatek. “Deren’s leadership within major travel businesses and proven track record of driving growth is a huge asset to our advisory team.”
