Greenwich, Conn. (PRWEB) April 03, 2015
Russell Turk, M.D., a Greenwich-based obstetrician and gynecologist, has been named by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor in the New York Metro area.
The 2015 edition of Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors: New York Metro Area is the authoritative guide to the top primary care and specialty care doctors in the tri-state metropolitan New York area. The publication lists more than 5,600 physicians in more than 60 specialties and sub-specialties who have been nominated by their peers and thoroughly reviewed by a physician-led research team. The listing also appeared in Greenwich Magazine and several other regional publications published by Moffly Media.
“This recognition is especially meaningful because physicians are selected by our peers,” said Dr. Turk, who has been practicing medicine in Fairfield County since 2000.
He emphasized that patient satisfaction is key to practicing medicine nowadays in part because patients are so informed and play an active role in their healthcare.
“I think patients really appreciate that I spend time with them and try to get to the bottom of any medical problems they might be experiencing,” said Dr. Turk. “I also help patients weigh the pros and cons of various remedies and choices, and then put my full effort into treating the problem at hand.”
Riverside OB/GYN (http://www.riversideobgyn.com) was founded by Dr. Turk in 2004, and is part of Stamford Health Integrated Practices (SHIP), (http://www.SHIPMDs.org) an affiliate of Stamford Hospital.
