Niederhuber to Address the Future of Genomics

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) today announced that John Niederhuber, CEO of the Inova Translational Medicine Institute, will headline the organization’s Titans breakfast event on April 9, 2015 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. Niederhuber is a nationally renowned surgeon and researcher who has dedicated his four-decade career to the treatment and study of cancer. The Inova Translational Medicine institute is transforming healthcare with groundbreaking genomics research, transitioning medicine from reactive to predictive.

During a fireside chat with NVTC Vice Chair Todd Stottlemyer, CEO of Acentia, Niederhuber will share his insights on the revolutionary changes on the horizon for medicine, how data sciences are transforming and personalizing medicine, and how increased understanding of the genome is increasing our knowledge of the development and prevention of disease.
