Great Barrington, MA (PRWEB) April 02, 2015
Berkshire HorseWorks Inc. and Cowgirls Are Forever Llc. are partnering to bring a weekend retreat for mothers and daughters to the bucolic Berkshires in Western MA. One weekend short of Mother’s Day, Friday, May 1st- Sunday, May 3rd. Join documentary filmmaker and girls leadership advocate Barbara Newman and EAGALA certified practitioner and corporate executive Hayley Sumner on a transformational journey to find the cowgirl spirit within. The “Saddle Your Own Horse"(SYOH) getaway empowers mothers, daughters, sisters and friends to be their most courageous and authentic selves implementing the eight principles of the American Cowgirls bold and independent spirit. Set on a 27-acre compound that houses the historic Inn at Richmond, a state of the art indoor arena, miles of hiking trails, a wellness center and fantastic Western food, the retreat offers an opportunity to escape the intensity of the city and explore the unique depth of the mother/ daughter bond. Fun, engaging exercises in the EAGALA Model of Equine Assisted Team building (utilized in 50 countries worldwide) challenge perceptions, explore nuances and reinforce the unique relationship between mothers and daughters.
This is a very special weekend of empowerment to get that Mother/Daughter bond ignited -- with campfires, contemplative time, journaling, natural horsemanship, roping, vision boards and introspection -- a bold mix of elegance and adrenaline, certain to create unforgettable memories.
Space is limited to 10 mother/daughter teams and must be booked by April 15th. All generations or combinations are welcome; all that's needed is an open heart, an inquisitive mind and a thirst to find the bold, fearless cowgirl spirit within. All meals, reservations, and snacks are included. No riding is involved, although available after the retreat wraps at additional cost.
Total Cost per Mother/Daughter team for the retreat: $2,350.00
Pricing is inclusive of two night stay at The Inn at Richmond on premises, all meals, snacks and beverages, supplies and activities.
