ABC's Forever Runs with Character Suggestion Made by AfterBuzz TV Hosts
(PRWEB) April 01, 2015 -- AfterBuzz TV, an online network created by E!'s Maria Menounos and producer Keven Undergaro, dedicated to TV discussion, covers over 90 shows a week. One such show is ABC's Forever, a drama series about an immortal medical examiner.
During an episode back in October 2014, the Forever AfterBuzz TV after-show hosts, Kate Aquillano, Marielou Mandl and Pegah Rad, interviewed actor Donnie Keshawarz. At that time, Keshawarz, who plays Detective Mike Hanson on the show, mentioned that he used to be a singer in a rock band. The hosts suggested he should sing on a future episode. Keshawarz replied, “That sounds really fun. What gruesome crime scene doesn’t need a little prog rock from the detective at the scene? I think that’s brilliant, can we make that happen?”
With the help of excited “Forever” fans on Twitter and the hosts’ interview with the show’s creator, Matt Miller, the writers were onboard with the suggested storyline. The AfterBuzzTV-prompted scene aired during the March 31, 2015 episode called aptly titled “Punk Is Dead”.
