Several Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic, LLC podiatrists attended the 2015 American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Legislative Conference in Washington, DC. Dr. Seth A. Rubenstein (Reston Division) spoke on resolutions and propositions as a member of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Michael Tritto (Rockville Division) was also in attendance, speaking as part of the Resolution Committee. Drs. Andrew Liss (Columbia/Kensington/White Oak Divisions) - member of Maryland Delegation, Priya Parthasarathy (White Oak Division) - Young Physician Liaison, Stephen Palmer (Annapolis/Clarksville Divisions), and Erika M. Schwartz (Chevy Chase/DC-K Street Divisions) were also in attendance. Dr. Schwartz was also recently named AMPA-PAC representative for DC.
The American Podiatric Medical Association held the annual House of Delegates meeting in Washington, DC, from March 20 through 23, 2015. Delegates debated and approved several Bylaws amendments and Resolutions directing strategic actions for the Association to pursue. The Delegates approved the nomination of Dr. James Christina as the next Executive Director of the APMA.
