ICBA Launches Community Banker University

(PRWEB) April 01, 2015 -- The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) today announced the transformation of its educational model to Community Banker University®, a modernized educational platform that provides the nation’s community bankers with premier and industry-specific professional development and educational opportunities for all stages of their career.

Community Banker University will provide educational courses for community bankers as well as accredited education opportunities for industry professionals and those seeking a career in the community banking industry.
Additionally, ICBA and Community Banker University will be affiliated with the prestigious Barret School of Banking to provide community bankers with an opportunity for a graduate degree in banking. The leadership curriculum provided by the Barret School is designed to provide students with a robust understanding of all major functions performed in financial institutions, including analytical, operational and regulatory areas. Additional courses offered via the Barret School relationship with ICBA and Community Banker University includes the Commercial Lending Academy and Human Resource Management program.
