Splash Media Group Teams Up with the Neeley School of Business at TCU for the Richards Barrentine Values and Ventures® Business Plan Competition

An annual competition for undergraduate students around the world to pitch plans for for-profit enterprises that impact society in meaningful ways.

I’m honored to be participating as a judge again this year.

The fifth annual Richards Barrentine Values and Ventures® Business Plan Competition takes place April 10-11 on the Texas Christian University campus, and Splash Media Group CEO John Dankovchik will be among those to judge the original, leading-edge ideas presented by innovative undergraduate college students from around the world.

“I’m honored to be participating as a judge again this year,” said Dankovchik. “The Values and Ventures competition is an excellent opportunity for students to present plans for businesses that create profit while also providing support to societal, economic or environmental causes or issues.”

This year, Splash is proud to sponsor the prestigious event by donating $15,000 in social media or video services to first place, $10,000 in social media or videos services to second place and $5,000 in services to third place teams.

The Richards Barrentine Values and Ventures® Business Plan Competition (http://www.neeley.tcu.edu/vandv) takes place at TCU’s Brown-Lupton University Union, 2901 Stadium Drive in Fort Worth, Texas. The event is free and open to the public. During the two-day competition, forty-nine teams will present business ventures designed to succeed fiscally and make the world a better place. The winning team receives $25,000 cash, with $15,0000 cash going to the runner-up and $10,000 cash for third place presented to the teams whose plans best demonstrate their concept. In addition, there is a Founders award and six Honorable Mention awards as well as first, second and third place for elevator pitches.
