Lazy Dog Cookie Co. & Choice Pet Supply Collaborate On “Buy a Bone Help Give a Dog a Home” Program to Support Local Animal Rescue
Ballston Spa, New York (PRWEB) April 02, 2015 -- The Lazy Dog Cookie Co., Inc. and Choice Pet Supply have announced a collaboration to provide support to local animal shelters and rescue organizations that support animal welfare. The Lazy Dog Cookie Co. will provide a 5% discount to Choice Pet Supply stores on every sale of “Buy a Bone Help Give a Dog a Home” dog treat, their highly popular 6” hand cut peanut butter dog bone.
For every bone sold at point of purchase in any of their 18 East Coast stores throughout Connecticut, New York and New Jersey, Choice Pet Supply will donate 5% to a local animal shelter or rescue facility.
“Amy and I have wanted to enact a campaign like this for several years and it’s finally off the ground,” said Keith Augustine, Vice President of Sales for The Lazy Dog Cookie Co. “We are committed to helping animals in need and the organizations that support them. This program will make a difference.”
The program will kick off on April 2, 2015 with the first Lazy Dog Bones appearing at all Choice Pet Supply store locations. This program will continue year-round, with donations rotating among a number of local organizations being chosen to receive funds from the campaign.
The Choice Pet Supply "Buy a Bone Help Give A Dog A Home" campaign makes it possible for local stores to be part of the decision-making for which organizations receive the donations. The year-round fundraising campaign will take place at all Choice Pet Supply locations throughout Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.
