In celebration of Earth Day and to promote the positive environmental impact of shopping thrift, Arc Thrift Stores will be rewarding each customer with daily coupons and the chance to win a $25 shopping card during the month of April.

The eco-impact that Coloradans create through Arc Thrift Stores is staggering. Over the past twelve months, 68 million pounds of unwanted clothing and household items were donated and diverted from the landfill. “Over 1 million donations were made to Arc Thrift Stores throughout 2014. These donations diverted approximately 5,985,000 cubic feet from landfills,” stated Lloyd Lewis, President/CEO.

For more incentive to shop or donate, customers can pick up a game piece from Arc Thrift Stores. Every time an entry is registered, the individual will also receive a coupon for their next trip to Arc. Coupons range in value from $1 off a purchase of $5 or more to $20 off a purchase of $25 or more. This gives people another reason to shop at Arc and support the sustainable practice of buying second-hand.
