UIEvolution Opens Detroit Office to Expand Support Capability for Automotive Customers
(PRWEB) April 02, 2015 -- UIEvolution, Inc., a global leader in highly scalable connected device software solutions for Enterprise companies in the Automotive, Hospitality and Cruise industries, announced the launch of its new Detroit office to support current automotive OEM and Tier 1 supplier customers and develop new global business opportunities. This expansion follows a string of new client engagements in the Detroit area.
Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the new office will support a dedicated staff of UIEvolution associates that specialize in automotive OEM content, sales and engineering disciplines.
“This new office will expand UIEvolution’s presence in the Detroit area and provide our present and future automotive customers with immediate, on-the-ground service,” said Chris Ruff, UIEvolution’s CEO and president. “UIEvolution’s broad strengths and capabilities, including a track record for performance and reliability and user interface knowledge, combined with a rapid product development cycle, already have set UIEvolution apart from the competition. Having an office located at the hub of the automotive industry will only improve our ability to serve our global customers.”
Heading up the new office and leading UIEvolution’s overall automotive content and US sales is industry veteran Derek Rohloff, Vice President of Automotive Worldwide Content & North American Sales. With more than 20 years of experience in the evolving automotive entertainment and content field, Derek has deep knowledge of the industry. He will be joined by Mike Chachich, UIEvolution’s Senior Manager; Principal Customer Engagement, who has spent the past decade leading engineering teams in the in-vehicle infotainment and connected car disciplines. Their location in the Detroit Metro area is a valuable asset for UIEvolution as it continues to expand its automotive offering, customers and partnerships.
“Demand for UIEvolution’s products has been steadily increasing, particularly within the automotive industry. Our current pipeline has prompted us to expand our presence in the United States. Through our presence in SE Michigan, we plan to further grow our business with original equipment manufacturers and Tier-I suppliers, as well as to better support our existing clients,” said Derek Rohloff, Vice President of Automotive Worldwide Content & North American Sales.
“The office’s strategic location in the core of the automotive industry in North America allows us not only to continue effectively servicing our customers, but also to leverage the increased interest in our capabilities among the entire automotive community. We expect this location will give us increased visibility into the automotive community’s technology needs and will help us optimize our offerings for current and future engagements,” said Mike Chachich, Senior Manager; Principal Customer Engagement at UIEvolution.
