“Student success is at the core of our values, and one way we demonstrate that is by making quality higher education affordable for everyone,” said Steve Hodownes, CEO of SNHU’s College of Online and Continuing Education.

Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education will hold its tuition rates at 2012 levels, making this the fourth consecutive year its tuition has remained unchanged. Tuition rates will remain stable through the end of June 2016 for students taking courses online or though SNHU’s centers in Maine and New Hampshire.

This decision reinforces SNHU’s ongoing commitment to making higher education accessible and affordable to all current and prospective students. Two years ago, SNHU renegotiated agreements with textbook and e-book vendors, forgoing commissions on books sold through publishers – a common practice in higher education – and passing along substantial savings to students since.

“Student success is at the core of our values, and one way we demonstrate that is by making quality higher education affordable for everyone,” said Steve Hodownes, CEO of SNHU’s College of Online and Continuing Education. “That’s why we’ve kept our tuition the same for all 200 of our online programs for the last four consecutive years.”

The hold in tuition rates applies to all SNHU COCE programs, including those with partner community colleges and other partner institutions. It also applies to SNHU’s Advantage Program, offered exclusively at the university’s Salem, NH, campus. The Advantage Program has been nationally recognized as a low-cost, no-frills approach to higher education for students with limited time and resources.

Long recognized as a top Military Friendly School,® SNHU also provides active-duty military servicemembers and spouses with a 30 percent discount for online undergraduate courses and a 25 percent discount for online graduate courses. These discounted rates will continue to be available online and at SNHU’s regional centers in Nashua, Manchester, Portsmouth and Salem, NH, and Brunswick, Maine.
