New at Summit Racing: Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Kits for Jeep Wrangler
Tallmadge, OH (PRWEB) April 13, 2015 -- Chrysler’s Pentastar V6 is plenty tough for a stock Wrangler JK, but with big tires or modified gearing, a Jeep will soon need a performance boost. Edelbrock’s E-Force Jeep Supercharger Kit delivers improved towing and off-roading power, without compromising daily-driver street manners.
Edelbrock designed the kit to be a bolt-on solution for Jeepers looking for more performance without the hassle and expense of a V8 swap. Best of all, Edelbrock’s E-Force Supercharger kit is 50-state legal, so owners avoid getting tangled in red tape.
At the heart of each kit is an Eaton Gen VI 1320 TVS rotor assembly, which delivers excellent efficiency in a compact package. In fact, the whole Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger assembly fits neatly under a stock Jeep’s hood. The manifold has a dual-pass intercooler to reduce air temperatures, resulting in better performance. An integrated bypass valve means there’s no significant decrease in fuel economy.
The supercharger uses a unique oiling system, which requires no drilling or plumbing. The system has a 100,000 mile service interval and the OEM oil filter is still accessible for no-hassle oil changes.
ECU tuning is required for installation. Jeeps running an aftermarket tune must be re-flashed back to stock calibration. Edelbrock offers a supercharger package that includes an SCT Tuner, which is pre-loaded with the correct supercharger tuning parameters. Jeepers who are more comfortable with downloading and installing tunes using their own tuner can opt for a tuner-delete version of the kit.
Each kit is designed, cast, and made in the USA by Edelbrock.
